Summer Camp is all about fun! As soon as you arrive to the bus stop for the start of camp, you will be welcomed by outgoing and friendly staff ready to kick off a week of excitement. Each morning is kicked off by a creative wakeup call and the activities start immediately. There are games (some never played outside of Evans Lake), theme lunches, and activities such as swimming and archery. There are overnight hikes, and the opportunity to sleep under the stars and play cards with your new friends. To top it all off, each night is finished off with campfire songs and stories.
It's hard not to leave Evans Lake with a smile from ear to ear and a desire to return as soon as possible!
A testimonial from an alumni: "When I think back to being a teenager, the one thing that sticks out the most are my years at Evans Lake. Above all else, I can't believe just how FUN it was to be at camp. The staff bent over backwards to entertain and include us in the laughter. I even remember how mundane chores like cleaning your cabin were made fun by having themed cabin inspections. My best memory, however, is just sitting on the field with a group of friends on the last day of camp. As the buses pulled up, tears welled in our eyes because the best week of the year had just finished."
