Evans Lake Forest Education Centre is open year round and is available to school field trips, youth groups, family events and private bookings from Sept 1 to June 30 (the majority of July and August are reserved for our Summer Camp program, call about booking windows). Rentals offer exclusive use of the facility including full catering and accommodation for 108 in heated cabins and 5 semi-private rooms.
Evans Lake’s facilities are ideal for family reunions, church retreats, community organizations, youth groups and conferences. Rental packages include all meals and accommodation plus exclusive use of the facilities and grounds. Our onsite Program Director is available Monday to Friday to assist in planning your visit and to offer Forest Education programs.
All bookings include:
- Accommodation for 108 in cabins (sleeping bags required)
- Dining Hall (comfortably seats 110)
- Recreation Hall with fireplace & couches
- 234 Hectare Demonstration Forest
- Waterfront and docks with separate areas for swimming & boating
- Campfire pits, archery range, hiking trails, large grass field
- Catering & janitorial service included

Evans Lake Forest Education Centre operates on the Society's mandate to provide outdoor, environmental and forest based educational opportunities for youth and community groups. In order to meet our mandate and provide exceptional programs, our rental pricing is broken down into three: School Groups, Community/Affiliate Groups and Private Off Season Rental.
