Cabins and sleeping accommodations

The Evans Lake cabins are situated on the upper grounds of our facility. Our eight rustic cabins have been designed to complement the forest and provide a unique forest experience. Experience British Columbia nature at its best while enjoying the comfort of heated cabins with all amenities steps away. Evans Lake provides a getaway in a smoke-free*, and natural environment.

Each cabin sleeps 11 (10 bunk beds and a single). There are lockers, shoe racks, and shelving to keep the cabins clean and organized. Step out onto the balcony, breathe in the fresh air, listen to the laughter of children, and you'll know you've arrived at the best place on earth. In addition, there are 18 beds in 5 semi-private rooms located in the Recreation Hall. In total there are 106 beds. Guests must provide their own bedding or sleeping bag.

Six out the eight cabins are wheelchair accessible. There is limited space for Recreational vehicles. Please call the office for details. Modern washrooms and showers are located beside each cabin and in the Recreation Hall. There are drying racks in the cabin washrooms.

  • Recreation Hall

With a wood-burning fireplace, the recreation hall is the perfect location to warm up and enjoy a hot chocolate.

The large recreation hall is complete with a fireplace and couches, office space, first aid room, and accommodation for up to 28 group leaders. In addition, the porches are perfect for arts and crafts and socializing in the quiet moments. AV Equipment is available on site.

  


Dining Hall
Our friendly catering staff will prepare appetizing, well-balanced and nutritious meals. Meals are served home-style and lunch and dinner always include fresh vegetables or salad. Vegetarian options and other common dietary preferences and restrictions are cheerfully accommodated, as long as we are notified two weeks prior to your arrival.

The dining hall seats over one hundred people comfortably and can also be used as a study or assembly area.

  

Laundry Machines

There is a washer and dryer available for emergency use, but guests should bring enough clothing for the entire stay. Please check with camp staff prior to using the facilities.
