Your Home in the Forest

Evans Lake Forest Education Centre is located 15 kilometres North of Squamish BC on a picturesque mountain lake surrounded by the Coastal Mountains. The site features a wide variety of natural environments in a secluded wilderness setting. Campers and guests will enjoy our comfortable amenities and friendly staff.

Comfortable accommodation is available for schools and community groups to rent during the Spring, Fall, and Winter. The cabins sleep up to 88 children, with staff accommodation for 20 persons.

An Administration building contains a large recreation hall with fireplace, office, first aid room, and staff accomodations. The wash houses have hot showers and are new and modern. We also have laundry machines for wet or dirty clothes, boots and equipment.

All meals are prepared by our staff in the camp kitchen. The dining hall seats one hundred people and can also be used as a study or assembly area.

The Centre's on- site staff consists of our Program Director, Facility Manager and Food Services Team.

Recreation Hall

The large recreation hall is complete with a fireplace and couches, office space, first aid room, and accommodation for up to 28 group leaders. AV Equipment is available on site.

 

Dining Hall

All meals are prepared by our staff in the camp’s kitchen. The dining hall seats over one hundred people comfortably and can also be used as a study or assembly area.

 

Accommodation
Evans Lake Forest Education Centre features two types of sleeping accommodation. All accommodation is fully winterized and equipped with electric heat and light.

The 8 cabins each sleep 11 There are 18 beds in 5 semi-private rooms located in the Recreation Hall. In total there are 106 beds. Guests must provide their own bedding or sleeping bag. There is limited space for Recreational vehicles. Please call the office for details. Modern washrooms and showers are located beside each cabin and in the Recreation Hall. There are drying racks in the cabin washrooms.

Laundry Machines

There is a washer and dryer available for emergency use, but guests should bring enough clothing for the entire stay. Please, no shoes in the dryer.
